Daily Lectio Divina: May love and laughter light your days

Daily Lectio Divina: May love and laughter light your days

Episode 654

In this episode of the guided lectio divina podcast, we’re using an old Irish blessing.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

I was drawn to the phrase ‘bring the best’…as I mulled the phrase over and wondered what ‘the best’ might be I was drawn to other words in the blessing. Love. Laughter. Warmth. Faithful friendship. Peace. Plenty. Joy. In ALL the passing seasons.

    May it be so….
